What we do with what you send

Last updated 26 July 2026

What we collect

Your name, your email address, and the text of whatever you submit: an uploaded CV, or a portrait written by your own AI assistant if you choose that route.

If you do an interview, we keep that conversation and the score it produced. We also record which route you used, because a self-written portrait and a CV are not the same kind of evidence and we score them differently.

We log the IP address of each submission for a short window, purely to stop the scoring endpoint being flooded.

Why we collect it

To read what you submitted, score it against the role, place you in a ranking, let you return to your own results, and email you your result.

Your email is also how you confirm the submission is really yours, which is what unlocks the interview.

Who sees it, and who does not

The team running this site. Your submitted text is sent to our AI provider, DeepSeek, purely to produce the score and run the interview.

It is not sold. It is not used to train models by us. It is never shown to other candidates: they see a rank and a score, never a name, and you see them the same way.

If you press share, we create a separate public page carrying your first name, your score and your standing. That link is deliberately different from your private results link, so sharing it never gives anyone access to your results page or your interview. Share pages are marked to stay out of search engines, though a link you post publicly can obviously be seen by anyone who has it.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it. Email quentin@treesos.io from the address you applied with, or reply to any email we sent you, and we remove your record, your submitted text, your interview and your share page.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to stop processing it, or ask us to delete it. One address for all of it: quentin@treesos.io.

Submitting is entirely voluntary and you can walk away at any point. If you never confirm your email, you simply never unlock the interview.

About the hiring managers

Each hiring manager profile is a set of written instructions describing how a public figure has publicly said they hire. It is not that person. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by them, and nothing it says is an opinion they have actually given.

Only a profile marked Claimed has been confirmed by the real person. If you are one of the people named here and want your profile corrected or removed, use the claim link on the profile or email quentin@treesos.io and we will act on it.

What this is not

A score here is one opinionated reading of one document by a language model. It is not a professional assessment, not a verification of anything you claimed, and not a prediction that you will or will not get hired.

We make no guarantee to you about outcomes, and no guarantee to any employer about anyone who scores well. Nobody is being hired through this page today, and if that ever changes it will be stated plainly on the page.

Automated scoring carries bias, from the model and from the instructions we wrote. If you think a score was unfair, tell us and a human will look at it.
